Almeria vs Celta by DoubleDown

Almeria
VS
Celta
Celta is 7-3-5 in their last 15 on the road, with 2 of those loses coming from friendlies. The other one came just 2 weeks ago in La Liga against La Coruna. During that game Celta out-shot La Coruna with 4 shots from 6 attempts while La Coruna lagged behind with just 2 shots on target from 5 attempts. The entire game was a series of unfortunate events. It started with midfielder, Lucas, scoring a sloppy goal for the home team in the 23rd minute. Then, just 3 minutes later, to add insult to injury, Celta's awarded a penalty but Duran Nolito gets robbed by Keeper Sergio Alvarez! Robbed! Finely, on the 93 minute mark, defender Jonny Castro scores an owl goal while trying to lob the ball to the keeper while he was already out to retrieve it… A disappointing end to a frustrating match but I don’t think any of them will be forgetting this one soon. So much that they have played it over and over in their minds to the point that they know what they have to do now. I think this was the kick in the arse they needed and I’m sure Berrizo made them pay for it in practice the next day!

Celta sits in 4th place in La Liga with 10 goals for, 8 against and a 4-1-1 record on the road. They beat Sevilla earlier this season at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium who is 3rd @ home in La Liga, 2 points ahead of Real Madrid. They also beat Villarreal on the road this season who is in 6th @ home, who has already beaten both Sevilla and Atletico Madrid this season @ home.

Almeria has drawn their last 5 matches and won only 1 in their last 13. They sit in the 22nd spot in the Segunda Division in Spain… dead last. They are 0-3-4 on the road with 3 goals for and 9 against. Nobody in their division has less away goals than them except Athletic Bilbao B with just 2!

The only thing I can see helping them win here is God. Teams like Celta play hard in the Copa Del Ray because it’s one of the few chance they’ll have at a trophy while playing in La Liga. One must keep in mind that this league currently has 5 teams playing in the Champions league group stage and nobody but Real or Barca has won La Liga since 2003-04.

While I’m writing the odds are at 4/5 and falling. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s -160 by game day on BEt365, or even -190 on Pinnacle by then. -0.25 on a parley and a straight win for a single!
