Crvena zvezda vs Real Madrid by Sharingham

Extremely important match for both teams since they are currently in a zone that does not qualify for Top16. Definitely this is the most unpredictable group in Euroleague. There have been few very unexpected results. One of epilogue is that the champion of Europe shares the bottom of table with just two wins so far.

Coach Laso said: "After last week's defeat we need wins. Maths is simple: if we win all four games, we're through". As is obvious, they must start to win starting tonight. In first match in Madrid, Real won convincingly with +27. Thompkins should be fit, Llull also after knock vs Khimki and Rudy F. still has problems with his back and certainly will not be able to provide his best. Away win in Badalona last weekend certainly gives them the self-confidence. In fact, they play quite well in ACB and it should be transferred to the Euroleague. In addition to the aforementioned players, others are ready for tonight's game.

Red Star is playing home game, first time in "Pionir" which has a much smaller capacity than Arena but the atmosphere is always better. It will be about 6000 fans. Form of host is not satisfactory. They won last game in ABA, but after two defeats: home game in ABA and last round in Euroleague away in Strasbourg, despite leading +21 in third quarter. In my opinion, that was a key point in their Euroleague campaign this year: simply, that game had to be won! Inexperience of current squad and changes inside of it with many injuries, resulted not so good season so far. Sofo is released, Mekel, Mitrovic, Dangubic injured, M.Williams is back but still not in form.

With all my heart I support Red Star tonight but I just do not see how they can win. Game line spread of +9 for final outcome does not seem safe but I'm sure that the champ will start aggressive from start. So, my tip is first quarter, -2,5 Real, good luck!

Unlucky mate.

Somehow Real Madrid lost this game, and lost the first quarter by ten points.
