AZ Alkmaar vs Partizan by Dajkula
AZ has a very unbalanced season so far. They don`t do well in Europe and stand 9`th in the league. There may be signs of improving though as AZ has won the last two matches against Vitesse away and Heerenveen at home. They lost to Augsburg 0:1 at home but won over Bilbao 2:1. Even though AZ is a very poor traveling team in Europe they do pretty well at home. Besides the loss to Augsburg the only recent home loss came agains Benfica 0:1. Augsburg has in fact 6-2-2 from their last 10 home Europa league matches. The hosts don`t concede much in Europe and the last 11 home matches ended under 3 goals scored.
Partizan on the other hand doesn`t know much success on their travels in Europe as they lost 8 of their last 11 matches.
Both teams will have important missing today. AZ is without:" Vaarnold(att.1-0), Lewis(def.1-0), Wuytens(def.0-0), Van der Linden(def.11-0), Haps(def.11-0), El Hamdaoui(att.3-1)."
Partizan is without:" Ostojić(def.7-1), Stevanović(def.1-0), Trujić(mid.8-2), Fabricio(def.11-0)."
This may point to goals but I will rather stick with the team that has played well lately and is traditionaly strong at home.
