Bradford vs Aldershot by Peter
The first match was played 10 days ago at Aldershot Town and it ended 0-0.
Bradford City plays in the English League One, they have a good season so far, after 17 rounds they are on 7th place with 27 points, they also managed to score 19 goals and received 18 goals.
On the other side, Aldershot Town plays in the English National League, they have a modest season so far, after 21 rounds they are on 14th place with 28 points, in this season they won 8 matches, made 4 draws and lost 9 matches, they also managed to score 26 goals and received 31 goals.
I don't know why but I have a feeling that Bradford City isn't interested in the FA Cup, I played them to win in the English Johnstone's Paint Trophy, they played at home against Barnsley FC, and they had like a week to prepare the game while Barnsley FC played the second match in 3 days, Barnsley FC dominated the match and won at Bradford City with 2-1.
Another reason it's they have chances to promote in the championship, they are on 7th place with 27 points, same as 6th place, a place that assure participation in playoff, they have a difficult match at Scunthorpe United on Saturday, that's 3 days from today and I believe that they will concentrate more on that match because it's really hard to win the FA Cup, and even if you win it, you don't promote in a higher division, also by passing in the next round they will just aglomerate their schedule.
Also, Aldershot Town is a the middle of the table, they are far of promotion and far of relegation so I don't see any reason for them to rest players, they will play at home on Saturday against Wrexham AFC. Also the FA Cup can be a motivation for them to promote their players and bring some good teams on their stadium.
I'm giving Aldershot Town a chance in this match, I really see them more motivated than Bradford City who probably will concentrate more on the Saturday match, I really don't see any value on the odd for a Bradford City win, it's to small for the risk, English secondary leagues and also the cups are offering a lot of surprises so I really can't bet on Bradford City, even if they will win, I rather lose 10 euros risking to win an extra 80 euros than risking 10 euros to win an extra 5 euros.
