Roberto Bautista-Agut - Milos Raonic

Predicting a tennis match is often more about the matchup than about the individual value or ranking.

And in this match we do have a matchup issue. Bautista is a brave player that has been playing his best tennis in the past couple of years. He's able to find great angles and to mix things up on the court . But he's got a problem against big serving guys. He's playing great when he's confident, but he doesn't have many solutions against big servers or againt the guys with a top service game. And that obviously takes from his confidence and it's making him vulnerable on his own service.

We can take a look over his wins and losses on fast courts this year in order to see two wins over players who usually rely on strong service games (Pospisil and Istomin) while we can count as much as 9 losses to Muller, Sock, Janowicz, Mahut, Federer x 2, Tsonga, Raonic and Kyrgios. Actually 12 of his 16 losses on fast surfaces came against strong servers, if we'll count also Monfilsx2 and Djokovic here.

The point is that I think once again the spaniard will lack in solutions against the canadian big server, as he did in their previous h2h matches, both ended 2:0 for Raonic.

The odds the bookmakers are offering for this outcome are more than sweet and I'll go for them.

Let's go green!

I wouldn't bet under.
Anyway, it seems that Milos has some medical problems in the inguinal zone.
We shall see how he's gonna manage the rest of this match ...
