Cuevas vs Troicki
Cuevas have had a so and so year, dropping to #35 during 2015. He is 26/22 overall and 5/9 on HC.
Cuevas is primarily a clay player, he plays well from the baseline and has a nice backhand. Cuevas made R.2 in US Open with a win against Sela and then losing in straight sets against Fognini. Surprised a lot in Beijing last week beating Berdych and Karlovic before losing a "rollercoaster-match" against Fognini. He was not serving well in Beijing but he returned well and had solid play in the rallies. Sure, both Karlovic and Berdych was not playing at their best but it was still impressive wins.
Don´t like Troicki and think he is often overrated. Don´t think he is at the level of his ranking (#24). He wins a lot on his serve but is not as dependant on it as for example Karlovic, and does not have the same level of serve as other big servers like Karlo or Isner. Has as Cuevas only won 3 matches in this part of the HC season with only wins against Ram, Tiafoe and most recently Raonic. I was toatally off in my prediction in his match against Raonic but if you watched the game you saw a Raonic who didn´t want to be there. Felt like Raonic took 20-30 steps during the whole match. If the first serve didn´t go in, he didn´t care. So I´m not reading anything out of that win in Troicki´s favour.
Expect a tight game. Both players ofc have some good qualities. I give Cuevas advantage in form and in the rallies. Troicki can serve great at times but Cuevas have shown he can handle a big serve. The odds have moved up a bit on Cuevas, so may be an idea to wait closer to match if betting. Cuevas can be up-and-down but I don´t really know what is talking for the Serbian to win. I hope Cuevas win this.
