New York Red Bulls vs Montreal by Dajkula
The odds are low for a home win and even for over. There is strong attacking potential in both teams so I would rather take goals in this one. Montreal is a notorious poor traveler and has won 4 of the last 47 away games with 10 draws. Things have changed for good though when the interim coach Mauro Biello took charge. Montreal has lost just one of the last 7 game and that was against Orlando. Didier Drogba was rested in that match but will be fresh for today. I believe he will be properly motivated against a strong home side. In the 7 matches Drogba played he scored 7 goals and Montreal has not lost a game with him in the starting lineup. With the support of Piatti and Romero Drogba will get chances today against a makeshift Red Bull defense.
Bulls are in good form but as the match against Orlando showed their defense is vulnerable. Especially against a good counter attacking sides like Orlando and Montreal. Bulls were beaten badly by Orlando and the defense exposed. The attack works great though with Grella scoring 7 and Phillips 15 goals so far.
Both teams have missing for today but the hosts more important ones.
Defender Miazga(25-1) is suspended, defenders Duvall(15-1) and Miller(6-0) injured and defender Lawrence(20-0) is questionable for personal reasons. Also injured is the attacker Abang(17-4).
Montreal will have injured midfielders Mapp(5-0) and Bekker(3-1) while Wandrille Lefèvre(def.10-2), midfielders Maxim Tissot(10-1), Johan Venegas(att.10-1)and forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel(8-0) are on international duty. These players Montreal can do without.
The Bulls do well against Montreal as they won all 4 matches at home: 4:2, 4:0, 2:1, 5:2 but I just can`t trust this defense against Drogba. Both teams average 2.9 goals per game and goals should be.
