Scotland vs Poland by FP

Scotland's hopes of qualifying for Euro 2016 will end here if they fail to get the victory against Poland. They need to win both their remaining two games, and also hope that Poland lose to Ireland in their next game. Although the Scots will be encouraged by playing at Hampden Park, their chances of making the tournament look very slim indeed considering the task faced.

Scotland have only lost once in the group stage, a 3-2 home defeat to Germany last time out which was a respectable performance considering the opposition. Poland will prove a stern test though and in my opinion have a good chance of inflicting Scotland's second defeat in a row. Star striker Robert Lewandowski is on fire currently and the Scottish defence will not be looking forward to facing him. Poland are a strong side however and are not all about Lewandowski, they have scored in every single group game so far - in fact they average 3.6 goals scored per game with less than once goal conceded per game!

Gordon Strachan has done a good job since taking over the national team hotseat, but his hopes of taking Scotland to a major tournament may well be over for another few years. This may be a tight match, especially as Scotland have home advantage, but I fancy Poland to take home at least a point, so will be backing Poland to win here in the 'draw no bet' market (if Scotland manage a draw then I get my stake back, if Poland win then I get paid in full)

Poland, draw no bet @ 1.83

Scotland have lost twice, not once - 0:1 to Georgia and 2:3 to Germany. But the pick is right. Odds for Poland are dropping ( see here:,1,37,9180/1509639/1/ ), so those who want make a bet should hurry up.
