Juan Ignacio Londero vs Souza by Bulan20

Medellin R.1 between J-I-L and Joao Souza.

~180 spots on the ranking between these two but not in their play.

Londero, 24/17 on clay this year, is a decent CH-player. Has a solid serve, not powerful but often consistent and wins a lot from it. Lack a bit in his groundstrokes, but has nice movement and fighting spirit. Played in and around Colombia most recently with a SF (Coric), QF (Bagnis) and R.2 (Lorenzi) loss as his recent results.

Souza has had a really bad year. 18-30 and only 15 wins on clay. He has struggled with pretty much all the aspects of his game, but his timing has been real off. Comes in to the ball in a bad way and createas unnecessary errors. Also played in and around Colombia. Last week made it to the SF in Pereira but didn´t impress and didn´t face a decent opponent until the SF so I´m not convinced he is on the rise.

1-1 in head-to-head between these two with Londero winning 7-5 7-5 two weeks back in Campinas. I expect this to be tight as well but with the odds as they are, and the poor play from Souza I´m gonna go with Londero to win this one.
