Silkeborg vs Naestved by Hassy
After their indifferent start to the season Silkeborg have appoint the successful Peter Sorensen as their manager. He has a decent win rate at this level and will no doubt inject some much needed winning mentality into an underachieving squad. Despite possessing one of the best squads in the division the hosts have only managed to win three of their ten games to date. The positive for us here though is all three wins have been recorded at home and they have a 3-1-1 ratio for the five home games.
The new Silkeborg manager has asked for fans to stay patient in this match, hinting that an early goal would be great but has suggested that fans do not become negative or agitated should an opening goal be delayed. He has also spoken of a "clean slate" and of "giving players a chance" which should see in increase in performance levels of the players. The manager has been very pleased with the training sessions he has had with the players and has commented of the increased zest and intensity in training sessions which bode well for the tip.
Naestved are currently bottom of the league and have lost four of their last five games. Their only win on the road was against Vestsjaelland who have an even worse record with five straight loses on the road themselves. Their last eight games have seen them lose 6 with a win and a draw mixed in that run. They are one of the division's weaker teams and I feel the odds on offer and very generous given the gap in the quality of both squads.
This match have been made free to access for the supporters so I expect a decent turnout from the home fans. With the new manager, the free admission and the change of player mentality I expect Silkeborg to be on a high for this game. It is a must win if they are to begin turning around the season and against a side that have only scored 7 goals in 10 games so far they will be confident of securing the three points.
