Al Sailiya come into this game after a narrow 1-0 win over Al Mesaimer in the last round – first for this team after two consecutive defeats against Al Rayyan (0-4/away) and Al Jaish (0-4/away) in the previous two rounds.

The club signed with several experienced players during in the break in Dragos Grigore (def.) from Toulouse, Raoul Loe (midf.) from Osasuna, Ali Mejbel (forw.) from Al Shamal, Abdulgadir Ilyas Bakur (forw.) from Al Jaish and Edinho (forw.) from Tractor Sazi, but it doesn’t change the fact that the hosts have obvious problems at the start of the new campaign.

Al Sailiya’s defense was torn into pieces against Al Rayyan (0-4) and Al Jaish (0-4), while the only goal for this team since the beginning of the new season was actually an own goal.

Lekhwiya is already without Sebastian Soria (forw.), but the guests still have one of the most balanced teams in the league and what is even more important for my bet: they started the new campaign in a good shape, having won six points from the previous two games against Qatar SC (3-1/home) and Al Kharaitiyat (7-0/home).

Lekhwiya excels Al Sailiya in terms of experience and quality of the players, the guests are obviously in a good mood at the start of the new season and I doubt that home court advantage will be important factor in that game, given the fact that both clubs are based in Doha.

I think that the guests are capable to win this match with at least two goals difference.
