Gladbach vs Man City by FP

Gladbach
VS
Man-City
Manchester City travel to Germany on Wednesday in desperate need of a win. City slipped up at home to Juventus in the first leg and failure to win here would leave them an uphill task to qualify, especially still having to travel to both Turin for the return leg, and to Spain to face Sevilla.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini is coming under pressure after City’s dismal display in losing 4-1 away to Tottenham on Saturday and losing the Premier League top spot to neighbours Manchester United. Tottenham were good value for the win as the scoreline suggests and Manchester City will need to bounce back quickly.

The good news for Manchester City is that Borussia Monchengladbach are easier to play against than to spell or pronounce. Although they have won their last two Bundesliga games against average opposition they actually lost their previous four games, including 3-0 to Sevilla in their first Champions League group game. As you would expect from a German team they are hardworking, but they do lack a bit of class and get found wanting against the better quality teams. If Manchester City hit anything like their best form then they will win this game. David Silva should be able to find some space between the lines of midfield and attack and I also expect Kevin De Bruyne to start and play well on his first visit back to Germany after leaving Wolfsburg. I am tempted to back Manchester City to win without conceding, but will keep it simple and back them just to win the match.

Ha, this will be too risky to bet, Mancity is not reliable when it comes to Champions league, but l have decided to play it safe since both defence is culpable, Over 2.5 match goals is my Choice.
