Al Mesaimeer vs Al Sailiya by Alexis1016
I think these odds are influenced by the heavy defeats of Al Sailiya, 0-4 against Al Rayyan and El Jaish. Anyway, both opponents were very strong and Al Sailiya didn't played so badly in those games. For example against Al Rayyan they were pretty dangerous in attack. In fact, they have scored the opening goal, but Edinho was called for offside, but was a wrong decision by the linesman. Also, when the score was 2-0 for Rayyan the Romanian defender Dragos Grigore was sent-off. Against El Jaish I didn't saw the match, but the coach of Al Mesaimeer said:
Al Sailiya is capable of creating chances but they can’t finish them and score goals. They played well versus El Jaish and they were even better against Al Rayyan.
So another good game made by Al Sailiya despite the scoreline didn't suggest that. Against Jaish, Dragos Grigore was suspended and also wing-back Faouzi Aaish missed the game due to injury, but now he's back in training. He's a very important player for Al Sailiya as he managed to score 10 goals in the past two season. On the paper he's a wing-back, but he's an polyvalent player who can play as winger. Abdulrahman Al-Harazi (2/0) is on international duty with Qatar Olympic team.
On the other hand, Al Mesaimeer is a newly promoted side and I think they will have a difficult task to stay in the division. They have lost clearly in the first round against a strong side like Al Sadd. They hit the crossbar from a free-kick in that match, but Al Sadd was too much for them. They have lost also against Al Gharafa. Just 1-0, but not because they played great, Gharafa wasn't at high level as was their first game of the season and they missed some good chances to score more goals. Brazilian centre-back Rafael Amorim went-off injured before the break and he's a doubt for this match. The other foreigners of the team are Mohammad Nouri, Helio Pinto and Brazilian striker Erivelto Silva. He scored 23 goals last season in the second division of Portuguese league, but against Gharafa he was very selfish. When he had the ball only searched the goal with long-range shots, nothing else. I think the Brazilian striker of Sailiya, Edinho is a little bit better than Erivelto.
With Grigore and Aaish back in the squad I think Al Sailiya will be much stronger (the last foreigner of them is former Osasuna man, defensive midfielder Raul Loe). I think now it's a good opportunity for them to win their first game of the season because the opponent is not at the same level with them, at least on the paper, hope will be the same on the pitch.
