Lausanne vs Aarau by Dajkula

In the 9`th round of the Challenge league the first Lausanne welcomes the last Aarau. If we only look at the table the odds are fishy to say the least. Lausanne has 16 points and 5-1-2 so far. Aarau has 7 points and 1-4-3 so far. Yes, there is a posibilty of a draw as Aarau play nothing but defense away from home and managed to pick draws against strong Chiasso, Le mont and Will. On the other hand the situation in Aarau is in disarray. That is how the former player and assistant coach in Biel Petar Aleksandrov paints the picture. The state of his former team hurts him badly. He describes the game the team presents as horror and in the locker room the players talk against the coach Bordoli. "Wrong tactics and poor training. Coach Livio Bordoli no longer reaches the team".

"The «Aargauer Zeitung» writes: «Bordoli has made in three months more errors than other coach in two years."

Aleksandrov states that Bordoli is out if one more loss comes his way. The team has kept most of their players after being relegated last season and should be fighting for the top, not the bottom.

So the question is will the team fight today or will they lie down making room for the new coach.

Lausanne was relegated from Super League two seasons back and finally show promise of a fight for promotion. They ended 6`th last seasons and were mediocre all around. Now they show better games and especially at home where they are the best team so far. They have 3-0-1 at home and 9:6 goal difference. They beat Schauffhausen, Wohlen and Biel while they lost against another title favorite Chiasso. They should be bigger favorites today with all things considered.

Lausanne will miss Krasniqi(def.0-0) while all others are available. Aarau is without Stoller (mid.0-0) Nganga(def.7-0) and Garat(4-0) is doubtful.
