Porto vs Benfica by Jiaho9

Porto
VS
Benfica
Porto hosts Benfica in the best match of this weakend in Portuguese League.

Porto is with 2 years without wining any title in Portugal, and this year they made an huge investment. Got Casillas from Real Madrd, stole Maxi Pereira from Benfica, and now they buy Miguel Layún that made a great match last wednesday, and Corona.

In the other hand they lost the 2 wing defenders from the last season (Danilo and Alex Sandro).

They have to win the title this year, and this is a very important match because Benfica come from a very impressive win over Belenenses and if Benfica get a positive result in Porto, they can elevate the moral and procede to another victorious season.

In the first 5 matches of this season, Porto get 3 wins (2 wins in 2 home games) and 2 draws, and in every match, happend 2 or more goals (2 games with 2 goals, and 3 with 3 or more). Another important fact is that Porto conceded goals from 3 of the 5 oponents so far (conceding a total of 4 goals in 5 matches).

Benfica is the defending champion of Portuguese League. But this season the coach left the club, and Lima (2nd best scorer from last season) go to China.

Benfica started the season losing against Sporting in the Supercup, and had a bad result against Arouca too, but in all the other 4 matches they get 4 wins, and all of them had at least 2 goals (1 with 2 goals and 3 with 3 or more).

In this match I see Porto a little favourite. In the last matches Porto was a bit more strong than Benfica, but this is a classic in Portuguese football and you never know what's going to happend.

I believe in a match with goals, because both teams got great players in the front, but the defenses are weaker that they should, so I believe that both teams will score in this match.

Enjoy the match and Good Luck!
