Bordeaux vs Liverpool by Ashjkc

Europa league's Bordeaux V Liverpool match will certainly be a slow paced game. Both teams seem to be far from their full potential. Home team will be without Toure, Sane, Sertic, Diabate and Plasil who are all first team players. On the other side, Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool's main man is still sidelined. Even worse, after the defeat 3-1 against their enemy MUFC, Liverpool will make a series of changes: No Benteke, James Milner, Nathaniel Clyne, Martin Skrtel, Dejan Lovren and Lucas Leiva.

These are the two teams which I know like to play slow football in the first half. There has been many games where both team settle the 1st half in a goalless draw. The recent Manchester-Liverpool clash which brought 4 goals was in fact a 0-0 draw in the first half. The set of teams have the defense and goalkeeping skills to defend shots on target. Moreover, neither team has that terrific center forwards for the moment.

Liverpool is one of the prides of Europe, even if they have been on the descent for quite a while. They also don't want a 3 consecutive loss row. They will play safely and do a game on a buildup which may last between 50-60 mins before finding the net. Bordeaux knows this fact and will play defensively.

I would strongly back a 0-0 half time draw for this gamepin
