Leverkusen vs BATE Borisov by AlQahira
Leverkusen on the other hand suffered two defeats in the last two rounds in Bundesliga, they had some problems scoring, an odd situation for a team with a coach known for his offensive approach since his time at Salzburg, Roger Schmidt and with the offensive arsenal this team possess. Even if the last game in Bundesliga of Bayer has been rather disappointing I have no doubt that they will win convincingly this game. With an offensive line composed of Bellarabi, Kampl, Calhanoglu and Kiessling one could always expect fireworks. BATE has had some respectable results in Europe a few years ago but this team si not anymore UCL material, I doubt they will have much to cherish for in the groups (from a sporting perspective, apart from the money).
I know nothing is sure in sport and betting but I must admint I cannot fathom here any other result other than a whopping Bayer win.
Bayer Leverkusen: Leno – Wendell, Papadopoulos, Tah, Hilbert – Kramer, Bender – Kampl, Calhanoglu, Bellarabi – Kiessling.
BATE Borisov: Chernik – Zhavnerchik, Polyakov, Milunovic, Mladenovic – Aleksievich, Volodko – Gordejchuk, Hleb, Stasevich – Jevtic.
