Wacker Innsbruck vs Austria Klagenfurt by Dajkula
Austria has invested quite a lot in the team this season and brough 16 new players. Some like ex. Wacker player Sahanek have their share of experience. Also their new Slovenian players Rep and Eler are scoring regulary with 4 goals each and have proven to be a real threat.
Wacker Innsbruck had a poor last season and finished only 6`th in the Erste liga. Things seem to be mooving in the right direction now and are one of the favorites to return in the Bundesliga. Wacker has 16 points from 7 games and 5-1-1 score. They had a sloppy start but now their form is good with 4 wins in a row. To top the good mood they managed to beat Munich 1860 in a friendly match a few days back. Wacker has 2-1-1 at home and 6:3 goal difference.
There are some missings for the home side:" Simon Pirkl(mid.0-0), Danijel Micic(mid.3-1), Rene Renner (mid.4-0) and Jürgen Säumel(mid.7-0)". Besides Säumel others are easily replacable.
The guests are not without problems and would say with more serious missings. "Captain Christian Prawda(def.6-0) and Bernd Kager(mid.2-0) are sick, Daniel Kerschbaumer(def.6-0) is suspended while Fabian Miesenböck(mid.2-0), Christian Falk(att.5-1) and Marco Leininger(def.1-0) are injured."
Ta make matters a little bit better Austria has their longterm injured Cemal and Becirovic back in the squad. Becirovic was especially important in the promotion battle so his return is a big boost.
Austria also played a friendly recently and lost to Grodig 2:0.
Alltogether I would like better odds on Wacker but still I think they can take this.
