England vs Switzerland by Marlo
Firstly, these qualifiers has been a borefest so far with the vast majority going under 2.5 goals.
If you have been backing that market you would have been cashing. Barring the mismatched games of course.
However, I think we could be in for some goals here and history is on our side too.
Switzerland saw 5 goals in their last game, came back from 2 down to beat Sloveina, last one was scored in stoppage time. A memorable comeback.
England confirmed qualification with a routine 6-0 over San Marino.
They have scored at least 2 in their last 5 against the visitors and the last time they met at home they conceded twice to them with the game ending 2-2.
Rooney is chasing a record and even with rotation expected we should see at least 2 goals. Swtizerland has quality in their ranks and play an attractive brand of football through star man Xherdan Shaqiri.
One imporant thing to note, dating back to 1954, not a single fixture between these two teams has seen less than 2 goals. As such at odds of over 7/10 I like the chances of it continuing with a push at worst.
Take the over 2 goal , over 2.25 or over 2.5 depending on your fancy.
Safest option I will take here.
