Seattle vs Toronto FC by Jose9Reyes
In their last game Seattle beat their arch-rivals Portland Timbers 2-1 leaving them in a tie for the final 6th play-off spot in the Western Conference. Overall Seattle’s record at home is 9-1-4(W-D-L) and they have scored an impressive 20 goals and conceded 11. Since their star striker Obefemi Martins returned from injury he has scored 3 goals in 3 games which bodes well for Seattle’s play-off hopes.
Toronto are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference and have won back to back games. Their record away reads 4-3-7(W-D-L) and have scored 22 goals and conceded 30.
The goal market is what I will be looking at for this game. Looking at the stats there is one thing that stands out to me the most. 72% of Toronto’s games have had Over 2.5 goals and the last 4 of Toronto’s games have had Over 2.5 goals. Seattle have a similar record where 3 out of their last 4 have had Over 2.5 goals. In the last 5 meetings between these two sides 4 of them have been Over 2.5 and the price of 1.80 for Over 2.5 is very hard to turn down.
