After my nightmare International break I am returning back home to where I belong, back into the English leagues. Scunthorpe entertain Blackpool today and I am going with the home win. "Scunny" have started the season inconsistently so far but at home they have been solid and are yet to concede a goal in the league. They have four points from two games at home and in Paddy Madden have a striker who is in red hot form. (4 goals in 5 games). Scunny are currently averaging one goal in their home games but I expect that figure to increase when Blackpool come to town. Mark Robins may look to make a few changes from the side that lost in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday, with key players like Paddy Madden rested.

Jack King was substituted in midweek, requiring stitches on a head injury, but he is likely to be fit to face Blackpool on Saturday. Jamie Ness has also made a return to training. That means that there are no new injury worries for Robins and it is only a couple of his long-term absentees that will be missing.

It has been a challenging summer from Blackpool, with their squad getting a complete overhaul from the one that got relegated last season. This could be a factor in their slow start that has only seen them take one point from their opening five matches. They will hope to claim a first win of the season on Saturday, but have not managed one away from home since April 2014 when they defeated Wigan. This season they have let in 12 goals in 5 games and have the worst defence in the division. After their recent 0-4 home defeat to Walsall their manager has said that "reality has hit home" and that it was "men against boys". Blackpool travel with a fully fit squad, after Colin Doyle and John Herron returned to training this week. Along with Herron, Norris could be set for his Blackpool debut, after agreeing a one-year deal on Thursday.

Blackpool are a club in crises and so far I have made some decent winnings by backing against them already this season. I will do so again today and am very confident, hence the 10 units. The visitors have W0-D8-L17 on their travels since the start of 2014/15, lost by at least two goals on three occasions this term and I don’t expect that return to improve on Saturday.

Good Luck!
