Gibraltar vs Ireland by Marlo

Gibraltar host Ireland here.

If the odds are anything to go this should be a straight forward win for the visitors.

There is just one problem, you would have to risk a ton of money on them to win anything noticeable.

They are about 1.04 to win the game so logic dictates we turn our attention to other markets.

One of the first few that popped in was goals and goal scoreres. I like the look of Roy Keane to score first @ 3.5 and to be honest while I would like to have a go I am tempered by the fact that in a high scoring game it can become a bit of a lottery who knicks the first one. Unlike the Wales game where we could be a bit more certain with Bale as he has more of an impact and we were getting better odds.

In games like this one team tries to defend for the first part and once a goal is scored the floodgates open.

Gibraltar kept things solid against Poland and Germany at the half and were the second half to be played on another day they might well have kept it close. However, with players who don't get regular game time and of a certain level the fitness starts to tell and I think it will be the case here.

Visitors may take a while to settle into a rhythm and I like the odds for the second half having most goals.

Before the haters get their knives out, Roy Keane is a typo. I meant to say Gareth Keane :)
