Romania U21 vs Bulgaria U21 by Sors
To be honest, I don’t know much about the Romanian team, but I see the hosts have good results over the last eighteen months (with the exception of the visit in Germany last September) and started their campaign with a 3-0 win at home against a tough opponent like Armenia.
Bulgaria, on the other hand, doesn’t show much progress under new head coach (Antoni Zdravkov), compared to the results under his predecessor.
In the matter of fact, the guests have several talented players in their squad, but they obviously can’t play as a team. The defense is shaky, the attack is unreliable and when the first mistake is made – second and third follow immediately.
The guests started their campaign with a 1-3 loss in Wales, with a nightmarish first half, in which they conceded three goals for only twenty-five minutes.
Bulgarian team had big problems in most of its away games over the past two years: five of those six encounters were lost (four or them with more than one goal difference), with one draw against Estonia in this period (0-1-5 7/20).
In addition to that, Zhivko Hadzhiev (def.), Stefan Velkov (def.) and Kiril Despodov (midf.) will most probably miss this match due to illness.
I think that the hosts are capable to win this match with more than one goal difference.
