New York Red Bulls vs Philadelphia by Sors
NY Red Bulls is obviously in a good shape lately, as the hosts have won five of their six games over the last month, with one loss in the visit to Columbus Crew in this period (1-2).
In the point of fact, more important for my bet is that the hosts were very aggressive in attack in their last two games at this stadium, having scored eight goals against NY Cosmos in the previous round of the tournament (4-1) and against New England Revolution in the league (4-1).
On the other hand, the absence of Chris Duvall (d / 15+1) and Kemar Lawrence (d / 13+0) obviously has negative effect in defense, as the hosts conceded at least one goal in three of their last four games without these two players.
Philadelphia comes from a 1-2 loss in the visit to Toronto in the last round in MLS, but this was first defeat for this team in five games over the last month and what is even more important for my bet: the guests scored at least one goal in each of those five encounters (3-1-1 9/5).
Philadelphia, however, is among the teams with the worst defenses in MLS, as the guests conceded 35 goals in their previous twenty four official matches in 2015, 24 of them in ten away games.
Brian Sylvestre (gk / 11+0) and top scorer C.J. Sapong (f / 15+6) are out for this visit to New York, while Richie Marquez (d / 11+0) and Andrew Wenger (f / 21+1) are doubtful.
The absence of C.J. Sapong could lead to some problems in attack for Philadelphia, but not so big actually, given the fact that the guests can count on good players like Vincent Nogueira (midf. / 5 goals), Eric Mbu (midf. / 3 goals), Sebastien Le Toux (forw. / 2 goals), etc.
I expect open and attacking football in this match and three or even more goals.
