Longford
St. Patrick’s Athletic is meeting Longford Town in the 17th round of Irish Premier League at Richmond Park in Dublin. The first match in the season ended 2:2.

The Saints came into the mid-season break with three wins in a row. They are in the 4th place with 31 points. St. Pat’s have scored eleven goals in their last four games, an average of 2.7 goals per match. On the home ground there are 2.5 goals per match while they score 1.78 goals. The hosts conceded in last four matches at home in a row, even the weakest team Limerick managed to score in Dublin. However, they will not have an easy task against Longford. C. Byrne is missing while K. Brennan is doubtful.

Longford was promoted as winners of Division 1 last season. They have had a very good start of their 2015 campaign, collecting 19 points from their opening 16 games. They are sitting in a safe sixth place. The visitors managed to score in 7 of 10 away matches in all competitions in 2015. On the road goal difference is 10:11 in 8 games, that’s 2.6 goals per game on average. Longford will be without defenders W. Tyrell and P. Sullivan due to suspensions.

St Patrick’s Athletic is a huge favorite here. The home side have been great at Richmond Park and with four wins in the past four games they will be high on confidence. Longford also play very well, they score a lot this season and they will look for a chance to surprise a host. I see a high scoring match here, both play well, both are capable of scoring. Also, past mutual matches often ended with many goals. Odds of 3.00 for over 2,5 goals & both teams to score have a great value in my opinion.
