Hans Podlipnk-Castillo - Adam Pavlasek

Adam Pavlasek is a young czech prospect, 20 years of age, which has been continuously improving in the last 3 years. He fell under the 200 place for the last two weeks but from monday he's gonna be back in top200 again, no matter which is gonna be the outcome of this final.

But since I see him as a good top50 material for the next years and particularly in this week he looked very solid in all departments, I expect him to win this tournament and to lift his maiden Challenger trophy. After playing 2 finals in the prevous month, this will come quite natural and will confirm his constant improvment.

His opponent is a potentially tricky player but he has reached his highest performance till one week ago in his home country, Chile. Now he overcame that as he's playing today his first challenger final. I don't see him wining it if the youg czech is going to maintain the solid level from the previous days.

So, if I'm looking for a victory in Pavlasek's account, I'm gonna stick with the patterns which are saying:

- 9 from his 11 wins came in straight sets;

- 6 from the 7 loses of Podlipnik since he moved to european clay court season came in straight sets

- during this tournament Pavlasek has been better on the first serve, much better on the second serve and clearly better on the break points saved percentage, things that are telling me that he's gonna leave small chances for his opponent to threat his service games and will keep the presure on Podlipnik's service games.

Therefore I'm gonna put my money on a straight sets win for Adam Pavlasek.
