Arsenal vs Aston Villa by Rahul

Arsenal and Aston Villa will take on each other in the oldest contest in England the FA Cup with a victory to seal off a truly successful side for the winner of this game.

Arsenal have managed to secure Champions League football for another season, and will want to do a repeat of winning the FA Cup much like they did last season to crown it a great season for the Gunners who would like to build on this to mount a title challenge next season. While they went a couple of games scoreless; the return to form and starting lineup of Theo Walcott saw them smash 5 goals past West Brom on the last weekend of the season. One can expect Walcott and Sanchez to probably partner each other up front while being supported by Ramsey, Ozil and Cazorla in the midfield to help them to have a great counter attacking unit.

Aston Villa have had a tremendous end of the season and besides the last game of the season against Burnley, they have managed to find the net in 11 out of their last 12 games. This return to goal scoring form especially after they had a couple of barren patches in the season has been due to the return to form of Christian Benteke who has hit 10 goals in his last 9 games. They have also seen some great form on the creative side from Cleverley, Grealish, Agbonlahor and Delph who have supported them to manage to find the back of the net.

Meetings between these teams are always an open and flowing game that has seen over 2.5 goals landing in 5 straight games and in 10 out of their last 11 games. With both teams looking to try and seal a lead early on, expect goals to be flowing in this game throughout to keep it entertaining for the fans.
