Murray/Peers vs Giraldo-Lajovic by Experttennis
Murray and Peers are outstanding Australian/British combination , they prefer faster surfaces but they really played well this season on clay and even though they have yet to win a tournament on clay never the less they have been very consistent and most of their losses were justified . They are skilled servers with excellent returns and ability to play at the net .
Giraldo and Lajovic are both singles players , they dont play as much doubles and this is only their second match together as a combination , they had easy draw in the first round and this one will be too tough for them .They are solid servers , nothing too good , they can return the ball well (Giraldo in particular) but they lack consistence and their play at the net is quite poor . I watched Lajovic with Albot once and I was satisfied with the play from the baseline but his serve can be attacked and his passing shots arent as good when a team charges forward .Same goes for Giraldo , his first serve is dangerous and solid but its not that high percentage one and his second is quite poor and he has a tendency to make double faults at least on doubles .
Dont see how they can beat Murray and Peers who are better in every aspect of the game and dont think that they will take a set here either .
