Chinese Super League super giant Guangzhou Evergrande play against Shanghai Shanggang. The most entertaining match up and represented the highest level of the league in the country!

Guangzhou Evergrande was the Champion of Asian Champion League in 2013. Thanks to star player, 02 times Brazilian League MVP Dario Conca. He is the player who can decide the a different of a game. He made a great success during his 03 years in Guangzhou and helped the team to win the league titles and more importantly make the team become the top team in Asia.

Coming to this game, Conca is not more representing Guangzhou. He joined Shanghai Shanggang this season from Fluminense and immediately brought the team to the next level. After 09 rounds, Shanggang stands on the top of the league table with 21 points, leading Guangzhou by 01 point, who is at the second place. Besides, Conca, some of the biggest change for Shanggang: Former England National team manager Sven-Goran Eriksson takes charge of the team; Former Brazilian playmaker and defending middlefiled Davi joined the team from Guangzhou R&F. Now the team Shanggang is very strong in all positions, especially in the front and in the middle. Since they have Davi to organize the defending end and Conca to control and creat chances for the forwarders, the team becomes very stable and keeps unbeaten record in the league so far.

Guangzhou Evergrande is still the strongest team in the league, however, without Conca who departed the team 02 years ago the team is losing its domination in the middle. Chinese Legand captain Zhengzhi is still a good central middle player but he is already 35. other middle field players never manage to replace the role of Conca. In a good many league matches Guangzhou was not able to take control of the game even when they faced much weaker teams. Head Coach, former Italian Captain Fabio Cannavaro is under bigger pleasure as he was said to be under the umbrella of Lippi and is yet to prove his ability as a coach, not a player. Ricardo Goulart is best of the best and he proved himself to be worth of more than 10M EUR. His leading the scoresheet with 8 league goals in 9 matches, which is very efficient. However, coming to this game he will be without other 02 Mr. 10M EUR: long rest Alan and Elkeson, who unfortunately picked up an injury during an meaningless Asian Champion League against Western Sydney Wanderers. Chinese International forwarder Gao lin is in great form, but he pobably not able to make the different here.

An obvious character of Guangzhou this season is not being able to concentrate on home match at the early stage, which often led to the team left behind and have to try to come back from behind. There were two games they won 6:1 against Liaoning and Shanghai Shenxin. But both 02 teams are the hot favor for relegation this seasons. In other home games, Guangzhou did not show people that they are the real giant and the best team of the league. Shanghai Shanggang now have an average of 02 goals per game and it is best defending team away. Guangzhou will have real troubles and I don’t believe they can win the game. With +1.0 handicap I will for sure going for Shanghai Shanggang.
