David Ferrer played on a high level against the French player Richard Gasquet and I really hope that those lacky performances after Monte Carlo are behind him and now he will start to perform on a level that he is supposed to and will start dominating the mediocre claycourters .

Guillermo Garcia Lopez is in very good form at the moment and beat a couple of really tough oponnents here in two sets ( Cilic and Dolgopolov ) but its safe to say that neither one of his oponnents was in any shape and I watched his match against the Croatian and he didnt perform that well mostly because Marin gave it all away .

That will certainly not be the case here cause this kind of slow surface probably suits Rafa and David more than any other player in the world and David has a solid chance to go deep in this one and fix his ranking a bit before he goes defending the points in RG .

I really do believe that David will pick up his game here and will perform well in this one and finish his countryman in two sets , David so far leads 6-1 in their h2h and only win for Garcia was in Wimbledon in 2007 back when David didnt know how to walk on grass .
