Stabaek vs Sandefjord by Dajkula

Stabaek welcomes Sandefjord in the 8`th round of the Norway Eliteserien. Stabaek is placed second in the league with 16 points, just 3 behind Rosenborg but with a game less. They started the season on a high and with the experienced Bob Bradley as coach they will do well this season. With only 3 goals conceded so far they are the best defensive team but it has also limited them to 9 goals scored. Stabaek finished in the middle of the table last year and was erratic all year long. This is a new feeling they have this year and I hope it will stay for a while longer.

Sandefjord is the new promoted team as finished the Division 1 with only 1 loss last season leaving the opponents far behind. But this is the big league and things started going wrong from the start. Sandefjord has 6 points from seven matches and 10:13 goal difference. They won at home against Sarpsborg and Bodo but picked up 3 losses away from home. True they managed to score in each of those 3 away matches but also lost them. Today chances will be slim but at least they have their striker Mendy back from injury.

Stabaek has some big wins like against Valerange and Viking and has nost conceded in the last 5 matches. They have a good score against Sandefjord at home with 5 wins though most of those were in friendlies so don`t count much.

Bradley announces a win today and nothing else will do.
