De Bakker vs De Schepper by Experttennis

Kenny De Schepper might have the local crowd behind him cause he is one of their own but I really doubt that he has too much of a shot in this one . He is facing an excellent player in Thiemo De Bakker from Netherland , a player who already beat him once in straight sets in their only match on clay back in 2012 and is looking to do the same here .

Kenny isnt a claycourter , his game style is mostly a big serve and volley on faster surfaces while on the claycourts he is forced to exchange shots from the back of the court where he isnt even nearly as good and that is why his results in the past months arent soo good . He is facing a very good baseliner who has more power in his serve and in his strokes than the Frenchmen does and is also more used to play on clay than Kenny . Dont see a way for him to surprise here .

Thiemo is a very talented player who is just trying to make it all work for him cause he has the talent , very good flat serve and a very good backup second serve , so much power of both wings and tremendous feeling on the drop shots . Doesnt go to the net as much but he has a very good feeling there as well . Only flaw is that he doesnt have that real eagerness or fighting spirit as some of the players do but I dont think that it will stop him here .

De Bakker winning this one .
