Arsenal host Swansea City at the Emirates on Monday evening as they look to pull level with Manchester City in the race for 2nd place.

Arsenal are the form team in the whole of the UK currently, especially at home where they have only lost once since 2013 which was a very unlucky defeat to Manchester United. For every home match the Gunners are well supported and this is reflected on the pitch with their excellent attacking football. With this in mind their recent 0-0 home draw to Chelsea came as a little surprise as it was the first time they had failed to score in a home game since a 0-0 draw against Manchester United at the beginning of 2014. It was also the first time they had failed to score 2 or more since December last year.

Aaron Ramsey could miss the match as the Welshman was injured during their 3-1 win over Hull last time out. Arsenal's other attacking stars will likely feature as their usually goal scoring form at the Emirates should resume.

Swansea's season is as good as over now as they realistically will not qualify for the Europa League next season. Currently lying in 8th position, it is likely where they will finish with the tough schedule they have remaining.

Swansea's away form can only be described as inconsistent with 4 wins and 3 losses in their last 7 away games. Their Jekyll & Hyde form includes 2-0 defeats to West Brom and Leicester but also a 1-0 win over 7th placed Southampton, albeit when the Saint's were struggling for form.

Amat & Oliveira will be missing for the Swan's but neither should be a big miss. Gomis might return which would boost their average attack since the departure of Bony.
