Toronto vs NY Yankees by Sors

The Blue Jays will give the ball to Marco Estrada (1-0 with a 0.84 ERA), who will make his first start since May 23, 2010.

The right-hander surrendered just 1 run on 4 hits over 10 2/3 innings in six relief appearances so far in 2015, but yielded 3 hits and 3 runs, with three walks over three innings in a relief appearance against the Yankees on June 28, 2011.

Carlos Beltran is 3-for-13, with 2 HR and three walks against him, Garrett Jones is 5-for-24, with two home runs, Brian McCann is 5-for-11, with 1 RBI, Mark Teixeira is 1-for-2, while Alex Rodriguez is 1-for-2.

Michael Pineda (3-0 with a 3.73 ERA), who will start for the Yankees, is obviously in good shape at the start of the new season, as the right-hander yielded three or fewer runs in four of his previous five starts, including 6 hits and 2 runs with five strikeouts over six innings in a 4-3 win over the Blue Jays on April 8.

Pineda posted a 2.50 ERA in three career starts versus Toronto.

Both teams show good efficiency in offense since the beginning of the new season, but I think that New York is the team with better chances to win the second game of this series at Rogers Centre.
