The hosts were limited to just 2 runs in the previous two games of this series against the Milwaukee Brewers, but I expect better efficiency in offense from Chicago in that game, given the fact that the Brewers will send to the mound Jimmy Nelson (1-2 with a 4.03 ERA).

In the point of fact, the right-hander pitched well in his first three starts in 2015, but had big problems in his last start, as he yielded 7 runs on 6 hits and five walks over 2 1/3 innings of a 6-9 loss to Cincinnati last Monday.

Nelson went 0-2 with a 5.02 ERA in two starts and two relief appearances versus Chicago, allowing 6 hits and 5 runs over 4 1/3 innings in his last start against the Cubs on Sept. 26, 2014 (4-6).

Chris Coghlan is 4-for-6, with a homer and against him, Welington Castillo is 2-for-3, with 1 HR and 3 RBI, Starlin Castro is 2-for-5, while Jorge Soler is 2-for-5, with 1 BRI.

Jason Hammel (2-1 with a 3.55 ERA), who will start for the Cubs, was outstanding in his last start, allowing 4 hits over eight scoreless innings in a 4-0 win over Pittsburgh last Monday, with seven strikeouts. The right-hander went 3-0 with a 0.64 ERA in his last four starts against Milwaukee.

The Brewers scored 6 runs on 9 hits in the second game of this series yesterday (6-1), but were limited to three or fewer runs in nine of their previous fourteen games.

I think that the Chicago Cubs will win that game with at least two runs difference.
