Levanger vs Sandnes by 20legend
Levanger has got a rough start after getting promoted to OBOS-Ligaen this season. 0-1-2 and 2:9 on goal difference is the hard facts, but they achieved their first point in an impressive way last weekend. Their opponent Fredrikstad was leading a comfortable 2-0 at the 80th minute mark, before Levanger was able to score to goals within the 10 remaining minutes and secured a 2-2 draw. No one had expected that for sure and it is a possible thing to continue on against another strong team, Sandnes Ulf tonight. Midfielder Andreas Peterson (1/0), midfielder/winger Adreas Lykke Strand (1/0) and midfielder Mathias Carlsson (0/0) are all missing the match tonight.
Sandnes Ulf has started off quite well after the relegation from Tippeligaen last season. They are off course a lot more experienced than Levanger, but it has not been all solid from Sandnes Ulf either. In the first game against another newcomer Jerv (2-2) threw away a comfortable 2-0 lead after a terrible 2nd half. The draw against Ranheim (1-1) in the second game was very strong though and their win last weekend against Nest-Sotra (3-1) showed that they will be among the teams that fight for promotion this season. Left-back Trond Erik Bertelsen (1/0) is returning from injury tonight, which means that no injuries are troubling the visitors tonight.
It should really be a clear difference on these two teams. Sandnes Ulf has a lot of players with long experience from Tippeligaen and OBOS-Ligaen. Strker Marius Helle (Viking, Bryne), striker Pontus Engblom (Haugesund) and left-back Trond Eirk Bertelsen (Viking) are all good examples. All of the players were getting experience from Tippeligaen last season as well, while everything is new for the players at Levanger. However, Sandnes Ulf has been giving away the win against Jerv (2-2) at home earlier this season, while Levanger can build on their performance against Fredrikstad (2-2). I am therefore picking Sandnes Ulf to win either half tonight, which should be a solid pick despite the odds being a bit low.
