Haugesund vs Molde by 20legend
Haugesund has got a terrible start to their season so far with 0-1-2 and 1:9 on goal difference. However, it must be said that their opponents was very strong lately. After a decent start against Stabaek (1-1) during their first match, they got blown into pieces against Rosenborg (0-6) in the following game. Rosenborg one of the clear candidates for the title this year, but it do not cover up for the horrible defensive display from Haugesund. They come from another loss against Valerenga (2-0) last week. They was much better in this game as the players produced some very clear goal opportunities, but they were not able to get the goal they needed.
Defender Vegard Skjerve (3/0) is the only player missing for Haugesund tonight.
Molde is another of the main contenders for the league title this season. Their start has been superb despite getting two of their main strikers injured ahead of the season. After losing against Odd (1-2) in their first match, they beat Bodo/Glimt away from home in a solid way. However, their true level was definitely shown against Aalesund (5-1) last week, as they did what they wanted for almost the whole game. The last 20 minutes in the first half was not any good as they let Aalesund back into the game by concede a goal. The rest of the game belonged to Molde though.
Midfielder Joshua Gatt (0/0), defender Magne Simonsen (0/0), striker Fredrik Gulbrandsen (0/0) and striker Mushaga Bakenga (0/0) are all still missing for Molde.
I think that I have found a good pick here. Tippeligaen is not a league were a huge deal of cards are being showed. The usual scenario is between one or two cards and maybe three cards if it is a lot of temperature involved. It is not like in Spain were you could get booked for almost every tackle you make. However, the line in this match is on 3.5 cards which I cannot understand. In their previous two games against title-contenders Rosenborg (0-6) and Valerenga (2-0) you would imagine a lot of cards in frustration, but that is not the fact. One card in the game against Rosenborg and two cards against Valerenga is the fact. It is just the games against Stabaek (four cards) that has gone over. No one of Molde’s games has involved more than two cards so far. I will definitely pick this match to go under 3.5 cards as well. The referee Tron Ivar Dovle has given one red and one yellow card in the game Odd- Stabaek earlier this season. Even if every game has its own life, I do not expect either four cards or a sending off in this match.
