Preston vs Swindon by TFB
The home side have been nothing short of excellent in 2015 and are still to be defeated on their home ground in League One. They have two top class strikers in their side in Joe Garner (22 goals) and Jermaine Beckford (12 goals) who are in form and scoring some excellent goals recently. Their last match was a 3-1 victory over Notts County with Beckford and Garner scoring all 3 goals.
Swindon's hopes of automatic promotion disappeared mid-week in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Walsall. The draw, in a game that Swindon were expected to win, came as a surprise as the home side where always chasing the game from the start and were reliant on 2 penalties from Ben Gladwin to recover from a 2-0 deficit early on. This point now means Swindon have nothing to play for and will almost certainly finish in 4th position.
Their manager, Mark Cooper, has been quite vocal this week on how he'd like to rest all of his players before the play-off games start. He said ""We would like to rest all of them if we could, but the size of our squad dictates that it is not possible". But one player who will definitely be rested is talented youngster Massimo Luongo who is carrying a slight knock.
Further changes are expected to the Swindon squad so a Preston win seems pretty safe.
