Follo vs Jerv by 20legend
Follo has got an impressive start of the season with a win against Honefoss (4-0) and a draw against Baerum (1-1) from their first two matches. The missing of their leading scorer Fetim Azemi (Bodo/Glimt) does not seem to bother them a lot at the moment. The other leading figure Alexander Ruud Tveter has really been showing himself, and they need him in order to not get relegated this season.
Jerv will be an interesting team to follow as they are newcomers to the league this season. They have been very impressing in their first two games, even if they have two draws. The have met two of the favorites for promotion, but managed to focus on their own play and it has paid off so far. The first match against Sandnes Ulf (2-2) away from home was the most impressive one. After trailing by 0-2 in the 1st half, they managed to fight themselves back into the game, score two goals, and kept the draw despite off a late sending off in the 83rd minute. They followed up with a draw against Sogndal (0-0) at home which shows that Jerv is able to surprise us many times this season, even if it will be a fight for survival all the way. They have done some very interesting signings before the season started with huge experience from Tippeligaen. The central-back Glen Andersen is the captain of the team and has experience from both Stromsgodset and Start. He brings a lot of routine and power to the back-four. The other one is the youngster Ohi Omoijuanfo from Lillestrom, which is a quite surprising signing. He has a lot of pace and technique which is a superb rescore in this league and he could both score and give assists from his wing-position. Their coach Steinar Pedersen is a hugely experienced player with national and international experience. He knows all about the game and should know what to do in order to keep Jerv in the league.
I think this could be an interesting game in terms of goals as it is two teams that could very well be among the relegation candidates when the season is about to end. Follo is the rightful favorites, but Jerv has some interesting signings that makes them more capable to get something from these kinds of matches. The pitch in Follo is not in great conditions so early in the season, but I still in a match were both teams can produce goals. They also met during pre-season in La Manga Cup, which ended in a 3-0 win to Jerv. A win could be very important for both teams here in terms of a possible battle of avoiding relegation. Both teams have no injuries of vital importance tonight. It is an open game and I will pick over 2,5 goals in this one.
