Zaglebie vs Olimpia Grudziadz by Raymond Fire

Generous odds on the home win today. ZL are the best team in this division after being relegated from the top tier in Poland. They now sit 1st in the league, but only by 1 point so a home win is vital to keep their position.. They're well on the way to their expected target of promotion though.

Brilliant season for them, +21 goal difference and a total of 15 wins from their 25 league games. Very impressive, they've been even better at home. They have a 7-3-2 record at home, scoring double the amount they've conceded.

Their home form has been particularly strong recently, in their last 10 games at home they have achieved 7 wins, 2 draws and just 1 loss. Whats more impressive is that they kept 8 clean sheets in those 10 games.. and scored a fair few goals themselves.

The away team are an average side in this division.. They always fall short of the mark for promotion though, again in that situation they sit 4th, but 11 points away from 2nd spot... Their away form has been weak of late too, 4/5 losses from their most recent 5 fixtures on the road.

They managed to hold ZL to a draw at home.. They went 2-0 up but then ZL dominated the game and came back to end it 2-2... They should get all 3 points at home though with their attacking focused tactics and brilliant form.. Also they very rarely concede at home.

ZL have the much more experienced, quality and valuable squad. Their attack includes 2 of the best forwards in the league: Kwiek (9 goals) & Woźniak (8 goals).

The away side have no strikers with that many goals and have some important players missing today, which will make it an even more difficult task for them.. They are without:

Wozniak (defence, 23 games, 2 goals)

Rogalski (midfield, 22 games, 4 goals)

Cieslinski (attack, 15 games, 1 goal)

Szczot (midfield, 23 games, 1 goal)

All these 4 players are usual selections.

All things considered the home side should take another 3 home points like they usually do... The motivation is certainly there and their manager has promised an attacking performance after their recent and disappointing 0-0 home game. The away side are the weaker team and smaller club.. Pretty much nothing to play for as promotion is unrealistic for them... They started the season well with a healthy combination of wins and draws but fell apart towards the end of last year.. They are still yet to find any form or consistency this year.. In that time their 13 results have ended in 7 losses, 3 draws and 4 wins... Not good enough, especially when travelling to such a strong home team, with a weakened starting
