Bodo-Glimt vs Molde by 20legend
Bodo/Glimt delivered another weak defensive performance in their first match against Sandefjord (3-1). If you add the results from the seven games in pre-season as well, it looks like the bad tendency continues with an overall 3-1-4. The four loses have come one after the other and the things need to be changed fast. The goal getter Fitim Azemi is brought in to make the valuable goals for Bodo/Glimt. Azemi has some nice skills in front of goal and contributed with 31 goals for Follo in 2nd Division last season. He has a lot of experience from OBOS-ligaen with Follo from earlier seasons. The most important message is that their most important player, Papa Alioune “Badou” Ndiaye, is back. He came in as a substitute and played six minutes against Sandefjord, but the playmaker is expected to start today. Newcomer Danny Cruz and midfielder Dominic Chatto are still questionable for this match.
Molde was very disappointed with the loss in stoppage-time against Odd (1-2) at home on Tuesday. Molde should have been able to take all three points, but they wasted some big chances and invited Odd into the game. Odd took the lead early in the second half, before an amazing shot from Muhammed Elyounoussi made it 1-1 in the 88th minute. Odd went directly for a shot at goal in the following attack, but it got a slight deflection and out for a corner. A header from Ole Jørgen Halvorsen in the 92nd minute gave Molde a tough start of the season, and you could really read the anger in the expression of the players in Molde. The injuries are the same for the current title-holders as defender Magne Simonsen, midfielder Joshua Gatt and the two strikers Mushaga Bakenga and Fredrik Gulbrandsen are all missing this match as well.
I think we will see a different Molde tonight, as they want to show that they can do better than they did against Odd. The bad defensive performance is continuing for Bodo/Glimt, and I expect it to be the perfect possibility for Molde to get a win. Molde usually do not score as many goals away as they do at home, so I will not go for anything but the 1X2 here. Molde to win should be a good scenario.
