Blackburn vs Liverpool by Kamlesh

Liverpool have failed to win their last two games and these were against Manchester United and Arsenal. These defeats have severely damaged their chances of qualifying for Champions League next season. Before that defeat, they were on a 13 undefeated run in the English Premier League. They are also undefeated in their last five games in the FA Cup. Emre Can (20/1 d), Skrtel (27/1 d) and Gerrard (24/6 m) are suspended. Without Emre Can and Skrtel, Liverpool might be weaker in defence but the suspension of Gerrard might be a good thing because he has been performing very badly in his recent performances and has cost his team many points. Lallana (21/4 m) and Balotelli (14/1 f) are doubtful.
Blackburn might miss up to 12 first team regulars but some of them might be back for this game. However, even if they play, they will not be completely fit. Liverpool will weaker in defence but in attack, they still have lots of quality with the trio of Sturridge, Coutinho and Sterling.
Besides, there is division gap between these two teams as Liverpool play in a superior league. Furthermore, Liverpool are desperate to return on winning ways and a defeat in this game against an inferior team will greatly affect the team's morale as well as fans' expectations. Only a win here can partly save their season. In this context, I believe quality and motivation will be higher in the away side.
