Aston Villa vs QPR by Kamlesh

Aston Villa have managed to get some good results under new manager Tim Sherwood but they are still very close to the relegation zone and they have suffered defeat in their last two games, scoring only two goals while conceding four goals. Cissokho (25/0 d), Richardson (17/0 m) and Senderos (8/0 d) are doubtful to play while Hutton (26/1 d), Sinclair (7/1 m), Westwood (22/0 m), Herd (0/0 m) and Kozak (0/0 f) will miss out.

After a series of five consecutive defeats, QPR have got a surprise 1-4 away win against West Brom in their last league game. However, this was not enough to get them out of the relegation zone and they lie one place above the last spot. Vargas (21/3 f), Suk Young (18/0 d), Dunne (17/0 d), Fer (24/4 m), Furlong (3/0 d), Zarate (4/0 f) and Faurlin (2/0 m) will miss out.

This is a very important match for both teams and a defeat for either team will seriously damage their chances of survival. Both teams have important players missing and their defence as well remains poor. However, they do manage to score goals.

In fact, QPR have scored at least one goal in their last six games while Aston Villa have scored at least one goal in four of their last five games and today the latter have the home advantage. A draw would be a bad result for the away team because Aston Villa are above them and they are their direct relegation rival. Both teams will want to win here and the match may end with goals.
