Celik vs Sasnovich by Tennisguy
This is a match from the qualif. rounds of the Katowice WTA tournament(indoors) between Susanne Celik from Sweden and Aliaksandra Sasnovich from Belarus.
This is going to be the first encounter between these two players.
In the first qualif. match here Celik defeated Oksana Kalashnikova 7-5, 6-4. She played pretty solid tennis in this match serving very well and making a lot of winners. I do think she needs to work more on setting up her shots as she does tend to rush a little bit some times.
Sasnovich played in her first qualif. match against Gioia Barbieri and won 6-4, 6-7,(3) 6-4. I didn't expect her to win this encounter but towards the end of the match Barbieri was make a lot of unforced errors and that was the decisive factor without a doubt. Even so it was a long match which surely took a lot out of Sasnovich who I don't think is very prepared for this tournament beacuse of very few matches in the past month.
I think Celik can get control of the match early if she serves as well as she did in her first match. Sasnovich gets very frustrated if she doesn't get control of the match fast and usually after that starts making sluggish plays and unforced errors. If Celik maintains her level of concentration through the entire match I believe she can get a very good win today. At these odds I think there is to much value for Celick to not back her.
