Dortmund vs Bayern by Lucik86

1st placed FC Bayern Munich travels to 10th placed Borussia Dortmund for Saturday’s late match at Signal Iduna Park, the 31points Bundesliga gap between the two sides falls away as this showdown involves the two biggest clubs in Germany in a match who is called the Invalidico.

It might come true that Borussia Dortmund will not play international football next season. The BvB are currently five points behind an international position and will have two tough games against Bayern and Mönchengladbach next, could even drop back to the relegation zone.Dortmund is unbeaten in all 7 league games this year and climbed up the table recently with 5 wins and 2 draws. Lukasz Piszczek is injured,right-back Oliver Kirch got injured during the week, also midfielder Nuri Sahin will still not be able to play. Marcel Schmelzer and Kevin Großkreutz are about to get fit in time for the Bayern match.

Possible line up:

Weidenfeller – Sokratis, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer – Gündogan, Bender – Kampl, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang

On the other side Bayern lost unexpectedly in last match at home against Monchengladbach 0-2.In this match Bayern was hit several times by counter attacks and i think Dortmund will try to do the same. Before this match,Bayern was unbeaten in 7 games,5 wins and 2 draws.David Alaba,Claudio Pizarro and Arjen Robben are injured. Also Javi Martínez is out and it is not sure, if Franck Ribery and Thiago Alcántara will be able to play on Saturday.

Possible line up:

Neuer – Rafinha, Benatia, Badstuber, Boateng, Bernat – Lahm, Xabi Alonso, Schweinsteiger – Müller, Götze – Lewandowski.

Dortmund are 31 points behind Bayern,so i think this match doesn't put so much pressure on them as it did in the past few seasons.Dortmund play a 4-2-3-1 system, playing a lot on the wings and they have fast players like Kampl, Reus and Aubameyang. On the other side Bayern plays with 3 defenders and Dortmund can take advantage on the wings so is possible like Dortmund to have many corners.

At home Dortmund have an average of 6.8 corners for them and an average of 3.1 for the opponent,in total 9.9 corners/match.

Bayern have a possession game, passing the ball very much and then passing quickly for players in attack. Bayern have an average of 5.9 corners for them in away matches and 2.7 corners for the opponent.

Statistically, plays two teams who have 6.8 corners/ home match and 5.9 /away match

I think it will be a match with many opportunities to score and even if the score will be 3-0 for one of them certainly they will still attack.

Another aspect is that both teams have very good goalkeepers, Neur being in the top 2 in the world in my opinion.

My bet for this match is over 9.5 corners

Have a nice betting day :) !

Ugly game,2 teams with a lot offensive potential but both teams were concerned to annihilate each other than to play football.
1st corner was in 73th minute.
