Germany v Australia

This may only be a friendly tonight, I believe coach Joachim Low and his players would by expectations do well and get the job done and also to revenge the 2-1 loss to Australia in 2001.

Australia recently lifted the Asian Cup beating Korea Republic 2-1 in extra time. Australia's coach Angelos Postecoglou has been very influential ever since taking over in 2013. Postecoglou coached an average club Brisbane Roar and guided them to BACK-TO-BACK titles in the A-league in 2010/2011 and 2011/2012. I rate him as a very good coach and gets the best out of his players.

However, there is undoubtedly a difference in quality between Germany and Australia here. Postecoglou will most likely bring the squad that lifted the Asian Cup though missing key players like important striker Tim Cahill and winger Robbie Kruse will really hurt them. Germany should be comfortable winners with at least 2 goals margin imo.
