QPR vs Tottenham by Rahul
Tottenham were unfortunately held back to 2 no scoring games in the Capital One Cup and Europa League; but bounced back in mid-week with a 3-2 victory over Swansea City. Tottenham's scoring form in the league has been really good scoring 2 goals per game in 8 out of the last 9 games, with all happening in 2015. The only game where they were held under 1 goal was the loss to Crystal Palace.
Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen have been leading the scoring for them, and Kane has now moved up to be the highest English scorer in the League this campaign. They have a great mid-field who have been chipping in with goals such as the likes of Chadli, Townsend, Dembele, Lamela to name a few.
QPR's defense have been shambolic and I personally think Redknapp found the surgery excuse an apt one to run away from the troubling situation at the R's. They have conceded 2 goals in 3 out of their last 5 games, and that has been due to their poor defense with slow defenders like Ferdinand, Dunne, Hill at the back. QPR also don't have a good defensive midfielder to shield the backline from conceding goals. They will also have numerous absences today with Onuoha, Furlong, Dunne, Isla, Taarabt, Barton, Fer and Fuarlin all expected to miss out this game.
Tottenham are in good form and are looking to push for that 4th spot in the league and based on their current goal scoring record, I see no reason why they wont put 2 past QPR tonight.
