Chicago vs Edmonton Oilers by Fish12345
My bet will be Jonathan Toews to score at least 1 point.
Today the Blackhawks are hosting the Oilers.
Chicago is in my opinion one of the best teams in the league. But they are playing a bit under expectations this season. They had some problems with injuries (Sharp, Crawford, Versteeg...) and right now they are playing without one of their top players Patrick Kane. This is one reason I'm backing this bet. When Kane is healthy, Chicago has two very good attacks, who are equally threatening in attack. But after Kane went down, their first unit became their main force in attack. And a big reason for that is Toews, who scored 5 points in the 4 games after Kane got injured. Besides that, Toews was solid all season with 53 points in 64 games.
Edmonton have a young squad with lots of potential in players like Hall, Eberle and Nugent-Hopkins, but they somehow just can't capitalize on that and are one of the worst teams each season. This one is no different as they are last in western conference and they lost 7 of their last 10 games. They are conceding 3.1 goals per game this season, and that number raises to 3.5 away from home.
Last time these two teams met, they played in Edmonton and the home team won 5:2, but before that Chicago won 6 straight, each time scoring at least 4 goals. Now they are playing in Chicago and I believe it's time for revenge.
If I take all that in account and also the fact that Toews scored 36 points in 33 home games this season and 29 points in 27 career games against Edmonton, I am highly confident that he will also score at least one point tonight. You can find this bet at Unibet and the odds stand at 1.45. Good luck!
