Columbus vs Washington by Fish12345
My bet will be Alex Ovechkin to score a goal.
Today Columbus is hosting Washington.
Columbus is in terrible form. They lost their last 6 games and conceded 23 goals in that span. Their number one goalie Bobrovsky was injured and the backup McElhinney just isn't good enough. On the injured players list are also Connauton, who was one of their better defensive players this year, and captain Dubinsky, who also helped a lot in the defensive third. Today Bobrovsky might play, but even if he does, I doubt he will be in top form.
Washington on the other hand are in solid form, winning 6 of their last 10 games. They are a streaky team and can win 4-5 games in row and in the same way lose some games. Their winning depends a lot of the form of their captain Alex Ovechkin. This was very clear previous week, when they lost 3 games in a row and Ovechkin recorded only 1 point in those games. Then they won their last game against Toronto and Ovi scored 2 goals and added an assist.
Overall, Ovechkin is probably the best player in the league this year. He scored 41 goals in 64 games, he has 10 goals in 16 career games against Columbus and usually when he starts scoring like he did against Toronto, a few more games like that are likely to follow. All that gives me the confidence that he will score today. You can find this bet at Unibet and the odds stand at 2.05. Good luck!
