Roma vs Juventus by Rahul
Juventus come into this game after a solid 2-1 victory over Dortmund, which will do their confidence a world of confidence. Juventus will not feel much pressure owing to the fact that they have lost just 1 solitary game all campaign, and will aim to take the attack to Roma early on. The last time these 2 teams met it was 2-2 inside of the first half itself, before Bonucci stole a late winner. Juventus will be extremely happy that their forward Tevez, Llorente and Morata all come into this game with solid form behind them. However, the absence of Pirlo & Pogba to dictate this game could be an influential factor, as Roma might be able to get more possession of the ball than usual to take on them. Juventus love scoring goals and have done so in 13 out of their last 14 games, but have been leaking goals as well especially in the last 4 straight.
Roma coming out of a tough game against Feyenoord will be looking to this game as the game of the season. A loss here and they can kiss their chances of a title goodbye, while victory narrows the gap to 6 points to keep the race going on for a while. Roma however have drawn 8 out of their last 11 games, and need to pick up form especially in front of goal if they want to push on for a win tonight. Maicon and Ibarbo will be missing for Roma, but will have Gervinho, Totti and Ljajic has a front 3 to help them put a goal in the back of the net. Roma has scored in 4 out of their last 5 games while also conceding in all of them.
Generally when games take place between the top 2 sides, you expect it to be awfully quite, but this one is literally for the title, so you can expect Roma to go for it from the first whistle and we can expect a minimum of 2 goals to refund our money, while 3 goals gives us a big win.
